  Got shown to a large room with three single beds, but no en suite facilities. The first eyebrow raiser was that you had to be in the breakfast room sooner than before 8.00 am and order your cooked breakfast. The room - wallpaper appear to be lifting off the wall in places, there is gap between skirting board and wall by door. Went to wash hand and face, top of cold water tap came off into my hand; the wear and tear on it would suggest that this is not the first time it has happened. The basin has a a small but noticeable fissure in it. The mirror appears to have some sort of stain and there is no light above the sink for say shaving purposes. Brushed against radiator by door which gave in to to the gentle pressure and noticed that it has no anchorage to the wall and was supported by pipes connected to it through the floorboard. The first bed I tried had a sagging mattress and creaking bed frame, the second though was better. Went for breakfast, had to wait and ask for a glass to pour myself some fruit juice. Ordered breakfast with sausage. Breakfast came with " Sorry , we have run out of sausages". Someone else got served breakfast with "Sorry. we have run out of sausages and beans". The communal shower was in a state too, but that may be the fault of other residents lack of consideration. Had an evening meal in the bar and that was very decent pub fare.
